EA to buy Grand Theft Auto for $2bn?

The Grand Theft Auto series's publisher; Take-Two has received a bid from EA games of 2 billion dollars to take over the franchise. Some might argue that it could potentially kill the series because most people know it as a Take-Two game. I think that it could actually do it some good, I mean, EA doesn't exactly have a bad track record. But still, all this is assuming the takeover happens in the first place...
