Game sales jump 34%

It looks like there's going to be a good reception for Grand Theft Auto IV as video game sales rocket in the US. A total of $1.33 billion worth of game have been sold even though the two front-runners in the console wars are in short supply.

in other related news, the PS2 continues to outsell it's big brother. The PS2 sold 351,800 units compared with the PS3's 280,800.
