US Government makes arrangements to lower contract fees

Lowering the average fee of around $175 for quitting a mobile contract early is currently being contemplated by the United States government.

The proposal is to force providers to allow customers to cancel their contracts without charge within 30 days of purchase and/or 10 days after receiving their first bill.
